Hello Everyone:
We are in the second week of July! This semester has definitely been memorable for a variety of reasons. The university administration has been in a scramble mode to figure out the best options for fall semester. We will have a variety of course options to choose from--including face-to face.
Fall Semester Options
For the past semester, this has been my classroom. We've been doing live remote classes via Zoom in place of our traditional face-to-face courses. It has been an adventure and a learning curve, but it has been fun.
Classroom
All of the crazy events in the world have provided us for much discussion and have certainly impacted our personal lives, but they have had little impact on being able to take and deliver online courses like this one. I appreciate your great participation and comments in the blogs and discussions.

I’m enjoying the discussions and presentations on the media debates for week #12. Remember that all of the assignments for week #12 are due on Tuesday at midnight. Here are the assignments for week #13.
  • Media Presentation
  • Final Thoughts
  • End-of-Course Evaluation
Make sure you check out the directions for the media literacy presentation. You can choose from an almost countless number of media topics to share with us. I look forward to the presentations.

The discussion board this week is for my benefit. I'd simply like you to reflect on what you learned over the semester and then share a few thoughts on what you found to be interesting, compelling, intriguing, etc. I'd appreciate your feedback. For this discussion board, you are not required to respond to others.

You are welcome to work ahead to week #14 with the final exam and the opportunity for some extra credit points including completing the end-of-course evaluation.

Keep up the good work. I look forward to your presentations this week. Have a great week!
